Working principles

How I work.

01

Genuine professional fit

It has to be a real fit for the work I do. I would rather say no than do it half-heartedly.

02

Agreed in advance

We agree deliverables, dates, expenses and who does what before anything is confirmed.

03

Editorial is not commercial usage

Taking part in an editorial does not give anyone commercial usage rights. Those are agreed separately.

04

Product is not coverage

Sending me product does not guarantee content, endorsement or coverage.

05

Paid work is quoted separately

Paid production work is quoted separately. See Services.

06

Selective and subject to availability

I take on a small number of these and it depends on availability.

07

Appropriate disclosure

Where a partnership needs disclosing, I disclose it clearly, every time.
